Cham particular expertise is in developing new products & new markets including strategy, organisational restructuring, change management, marketing/sales/business planning & the training of sales/marketing/operations/technical services/customer service teams.

Martin Rigley

After more than 20 years in a family run business I’ve experienced success, stood on the edge of failure on more than one occasion & dealt with numerous challenges (all of which had people issues at the root of the problem), numerous board level positions on SME support organisation’s, a wealth of experience (& internal scars) & a firm belief in the power of leadership training coupled with coaching & mentoring, I felt it was time to give something back. With a specialist interest in STEM based SME’s, family SME’s & an altruistic interest in leadership, coaching & mentoring. I have a passion for developing the leaders of tomorrow, be it through short courses, professional qualifications and/or coaching & mentoring.

Richard Mayer

Richard’s interests lie in improving professional marketing standards for individuals, marketing teams and organisations, with a particular focus on business to business marketing, strategic marketing and public sector marketing. Richard has been actively involved  in marketing training and education including projects in the Public Sector and prominent blue-chip companies. He has extensive experience of training and education both in the UK and abroad. For 20 years Richard was employed at the University of Derby responsible for the management of the professional marketing programmes and development of the new MSC Strategic Marketing. He has published several journals and also contributed chapters to several books on subjects spanning advertising, marketing intelligence, internet marketing and CRM.

Amanda Chambers

Amanda is an experienced strategic manager and marketing and communications professional with 20 years’ experience in the health, leisure, culture and well-being sector. As a Head of Service working in the public sector, leading multiple operational and management teams, Amanda has specific experience in service re-engineering, financial management and efficiency programmes, in particular in the last four years, a period of unprecedented change and challenge for the public sector. Amanda is a creative and strategic marketing and communications professional with particular expertise in marketing strategy and campaigning and public sector social marketing and has highly-developed skills and experience in marketing training, communications, CRM, income generation and customer service. Having developed and implemented sport, leisure, health and physical activity strategies and led public sport and leisure services. Her marketing teaching and training experience has been developed over the last ten years, as an Associate Lecturer on the University of Derby’s Chartered Institute of Marketing’s Professional programme, receiving a Commendation from the CIM in 2013 and 2015.

Nikki Annison

Nikki is an experienced B2B marketing professional with a decade’s industry experience, specialising in the software sector. Nikki holds a BA (Hons) Marketing degree, as well as a CIM Professional Postgraduate Diploma in Marketing.

Katherine Kemp

Katherine is an experienced Chartered Marketer and Accredited Public Relations practitioner, having held a number of in-house and agency roles over the past decade. She has worked with many high profile companies in the B2B and B2C arenas, across various industries such as FMCG, manufacturing and technical testing. Currently Head of Marketing & Communications at ESG, Katherine’s role is to develop the strategy for the company’s internal and external marketing and communications, including public relations, advertising, employee engagement, social media, and crisis communications. Having tutored marketing and communications students since 2013, Katherine has taught a variety of modules which include, Public Relations, Marketing, Mastering Metrics and Integrated Communications. Katherine believes that studying the CIM qualifications boosted her from a tactical marketer, to a strategic marketing professional and she is passionate about supporting other marketers through this journey.

Rebecca Coldicott

Rebecca is a strategic senior digital marketing consultant with over 12 years experience, gained from a combination of B2B, B2C, in-house and agency roles. Industries covered include; retail, professional services, not-for-profit, automotive, leisure, events, healthcare, SMEs and travel. Rebecca set up a digital marketing consultancy in 2014 to deliver high quality and strategic marketing for direct and agency clients in the UK. She currently leads clients’ brand, digital and social media strategies for growth. She has delivered successful, award-winning and high ROI campaigns for a variety of high profile clients. Rebecca holds a BSc (Hons) degree, as well as a CIM Professional Diploma in Marketing.

Martin Broadhurst

In 2010 Martin left his job on the factory floor of a steel fabrication company to co-found Status Social, a social media marketing consultancy, having built online communities on a number of blogs, forums and online gaming channels since his teenage years. During this time, Martin delivered social media training to over 800 businesses in the East Midlands, was the UK’s first tutor for the BTEC in Social Media Marketing and delivered social media marketing campaigns for clients as diverse as UK tourist boards and international B2B trade publications. Martin joined Katapult, a Creative England Top 50 company, in 2012 to build the inbound marketing service within the business and achieved HubSpot’s Gold Partner status in 2013. He now leads a team of digital marketing experts delivering content marketing campaigns for global businesses in oil and gas, education and leisure, as well as B2B inbound marketing campaigns for businesses across the UK. In his spare time, Martin likes visiting Derby’s pubs, experimenting with new technologies and watching Derby County. He is also a Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts, TEDx speaker and sits on the D2 Skills and Employment Board, heading up the work readiness task group

Karl Rush

Karl Rush is a Chartered Marketer, with extensive experience in B2B Marketing having held senior commercial and operational positions within the engineering, industrial distribution and energy industries. Karl’s specific area of expertise is in Business development, Customer acquisition, Services Marketing and Sales/Marketing Planning and execution. Karl Holds an MSc in Marketing as well as the CIM Postgraduate and Professional diplomas.

Lara got into Marketing 15 years ago & has loved it ever since. She was a Group Marketing Manager for a Global Brand – Redeem who manages Europe’s largest trade-in programme for O2 Recycle, Tesco Mobile, Envirofone, Vodaphone, Three & Argos. She has previously worked for many global brands including Molson Coors, Citi Bank, Barclaycard, Coca Cola & Unicef (just to name a few). She has developed & executed global multi-channel communication campaigns to millions of customers year on year. She is now the business owner of Lara Denney Marketing – making Marketing Crystal Clear for entrepreneurs, small businesses locally & around the globe. With a strong passion for Content Marketing, Branding & Communications, Lara loves films, walking her dog & keeping healthy.
