At TMLA, Cham is the Commercial Director with the key driver of providing a CIM provision in the East Midlands to develop the next generation of marketeers. He is passionate to grow the presence of marketing on company boards & encourages marketeers to be strategic, embrace compassionate leadership, get strong with financial metrics & be accountable to progress onto company boards.

Cham has a motivation to tackle low aspiration in young people & support their development to build ambition, confidence, self-worth, motivation, resilience & business skills to achieve their true potential.

Away from the office, Cham enjoys quality family time, good food & travel.

Amanda Chambers

TMLA Director

Amanda is an experienced strategic marketing & behaviour change professional with wide ranging experience in the sport, leisure, culture & well-being sector. Amanda is a Director of The Marketing & Leadership Academy in Derby, looking after all things operational & occasionally can be persuaded to do some teaching.

Currently Amanda is leading work in Nottingham to address physical inactivity. Active Together Nottingham aims to make it as easy as possible for people to move more where they live, work and play. Amanda also runs her own consultancy, Sharp Elbows Limited & works as an associate consultant for Inspiring Change Ltd, educating & supporting people working in physical activity, sport, health & well-being around behaviour change practice. Amanda led the innovative Sport England funded City of Football project in Nottingham, using behaviour change principles to drive increased participation especially with under-represented groups and in-active people.

When not working Amanda can be found riding and racing my track bike in velodromes around the country competing in local, national & international Masters’ competitions.

Richard has over 30 years of experience working in the marketing training & education sectors. This includes delivering workshops for a range of clients in the UK & internationally with a focus on improving professional marketing standards & capabilities for individuals 7 their organisations.

Richard has worked on marketing training projects for several prominent blue-chip companies, including Microsoft, Gemalto, Sony, O2, Airbus, Abbvie, HSBC, Aczo Nobel, Pfizer, JCB, Canon & BP. In addition to this Richard is faculty course director for the Chartered Institute of Marketing and mentor on an Enterprise Innovation programme for the University of Greenwich.

Richard specialises in;

Business to business marketing, strategic marketing, marketing planning, brand management, marketing communications, public relations & public sector / not for profit marketing

He is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Marketing & a Liveryman of the Worshipful Company of Marketers.

His primary interests are his passion for golf plus a love of theatre. He also enjoys walking & cycling in his spare time.
